Jace's Baptism

Jace was baptized on January 31st we had a really great turn out of family and friends. It was a really nice service. Jace gave a little talk before anyone. Jaspur and Sharianne sang a duet together of I am a child, it was so dang cute. Thanks to everyone who talked and helped out especially Tana for saving us by playing the piano. We had dinner at our house after ,not everyone came but those who did it was really nice to be able to visit with everyone. Jace recieved some money as gifts which he was thrilled to get enough to buy a new wii game. It is in the mail as we speak. Thanks again everyone we love ya.

It's a New Year!

Christmas came and left. It is bitterly cold here. It just stormed this weekend since before Christmas it is something we need pretty bad. But I hate the cold. I don't mind the snow as long as the roads are not slick. Anyways, we have had a busy January. Jace turned 8 on January 19th He had a birthday party from 11:00 - 3:00 that day ,I had 10 eight and nine year old boys running around the house. He had a pizza party, and cake and ice cream and they played the nintendo Wii, and ran around the house playing army. I can't believe I made it out alive to tell you the truth. He is going to be baptized on January 31st at 6:00. He is really excited.

We are snowed in!!!

I don't know how some of you are doing but here in SouthEast Idaho it is going to be a very White Christmas. It is done snowing right now and I am pretty sure we have ten inches or more. I attempted to drive today. I went to my cousins up the road which wasn't a wise decision because the wind came up and started drifting in the roads I made it home just fine I was driving the truck. But I really don't think I like snow very well. With Jay being gone for 4 days out of the week it is not very fun to do chores when the snow is up to my knees. But I shouldn't complain either because we do need it really bad.

The Brower Christmas Party!

On December 20th it was the annual Brower Christmas party. This is a pretty big deal in our family. The kids love going they get to play with their cousins that they only see usually once a year, and see Santa Clause. This year quite a few didn't make it and we missed them but what can ya do. Joyce (mother-in-law) did a great job as usual. She fixes the main meal this year it was mashed potatoes and Turkey gravy and corn and other people brought side dishes and goodies to snack on. It was really yummy. She lovingly makes a lot of the gifts that she gives which is 60 or more between kids, grandkids and great grandkids this year she made the grandaughters aprons they are so cute. The grandsons got cute pillow cases too. My boys have cowboys on them of course. I took a lot of pictures so hopefully i can get them posted soon.

These are Jaces things he entered in the fair. A clay dog, A watercolor that looks like our houndog, and a sketching of a horse.

These pictures are from September. Jaspur, Jace and Sharianne all entered some things in the Eastern Idaho State Fair. They each got 10.00 in premium money so they were excited. Jaspur is holding his sand art picture and a watercolor he did.

Also at the fair there was childrens tractor pulling I took Jaspur and the girls I babysit and the competed against each other. It was so fun to watch he is pedaling with everything he's got.

Dax got a new toy for his birthday a whale swimming pool. All the kids enjoyed even the big kids.
